Key duties & requirements
- Solid bookkeeping and accounts experience (Australian experience advantageous)
- Advanced knowledge in Xero
- Excellent customer service skills, time management and attention to detail
- Communicating with clients to request relevant support documents and clarify information
- Scheduling and managing appointments and Zoom meetings
- Reviewing emails from clients, screening and managing the associated workflow
- Data entry: Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, updating data files, managing backups and file management
- Monthly accounts reconciliation
- Use of Asana project management tool
- Follow up on Accounts Receivable via email and phone call
- Be able to quickly learn Australia-specific bookkeeping knowledge
- Admin tasks and assisting management as required
Knowledge/Skills/attributes
- A solid understanding of financial systems, Xero and other cloud accounting packages
- Accounting qualification (Advantageous)
- Solid spoken and written English skills
- Australian bookkeeping or accounts experience working with multiple different clients (Advantageous)
- Ability to work autonomously and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible, adaptable, and diligent with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Technologically savvy and about to learn quickly
- Strong computer skills, Office 365,
- Attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking
- Reliable, attention to details and self-motivated.
