- Welcome clients as they enter.
- Give drink menus to clients and respond to their inquiries about the ingredients.
- Take orders while paying attention to the little things (such your preferred coffee blend or the amounts of cream and sugar).
- Prepare drinks following the recipes.
- Serve alcoholic beverages and prepared foods orders.
- Obtain and handle payments.
- Clean up the bar area.
- Keep a supply of clean cups and plates.
- Examine the functionality of the brewing equipment and note any maintenance requirements.
- Follow the rules for health and safety food and beverages preparation.
- Inform managers of consumer comments and suggest new menu items
