Responsibilities:
- Calculate and deduct accurate payroll taxes, contributions, and other statutory deductions such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
- Perform regular reconciliation of payroll records, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies or errors for prompt resolution
- Prepare and process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Prepare payroll reports, including payroll summaries, tax filings, and other relevant reports required by management and government agencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll processes.
- Proficient in using payroll and accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Google Sheets
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
